It's been a while since I've done one of these features. Here's a wildly optimistic song from a while ago that I haven't heard in a very long time.
I Can See Clearly Now (Johnny Nash) - Ray Charles
I Can See Clearly Now (Johnny Nash) - Otis Redding
I Can See Clearly Now (Johnny Nash) - Bob Marley
I Can See Clearly Now - Johnny Nash

I can hear clearly... that it's Johnny Nash and Ray Charles, but Bob Marley and Otis Redding? These both sound like Nash again. You sure you put up the correct links? Thanks for the effort though.
They are very similar, and I think that I know why - Marley's Wailers used to work very closely with Nash, and for this song, I believe that they played with him. Redding's version is certainly similar, but different.
that is not otis redding
Johnny Nash originally recorded this song in 1972. Otis Redding died in 1967. And from Wikipedia's entry on this song: "It is a common misconception that the song was written and/or performed by Bob Marley, possibly based on the fact that The Wailers were the backing band on Nash's original recording. Marley wrote Nash's next single, "Stir It Up"."
Hm, looks like I didn't do my research - thanks for the imput, looks like the guy I got the songs from was incorrect...
